I have been riding since junior high and fell in love with snowboarding right away. I raced slalom courses in high school at Sierra at Tahoe & Mount Shasta, instructed new riders in college at Arizona Snowbowl, worked as an online gear expert for two seasons, helping a wide range of snowboards get on the right gear for them, and now I ride for the love of shredding with the occasional banked slalom race in Colorado and Utah.
I have a degree in mechanical engineering and love talking gear/specs with other riders. I enjoy diving into materials, shapes, profiles, and new tech. Getting to ride/test new products on snow brings it all together for me, as that’s when you truly get to know the “personality” of each board/binding and how all the features come together.
My favorite things about snowboarding are the positive energy from the people I ride with, reaching that flow state while shredding, learning something new, and connecting with the mountains. I love the history, I love the culture, I love the mountains, I love snowboarding.

Growing up in Utah, I was exposed to the greatest snow on earth for 22 years before I took up snowboarding. I am ashamed for not going sooner, as flying down the mountain and laying in a deep carve is one of the best feelings on the planet. I am an intermediate rider who loves wide-open runs, big carves, and sunny blue-bird days on the mountain.
One of my favorite things about snowboarding is the culture. Learning (falling) and progressing is completely normal and encouraged! Whenever I’m on the mountain, I’ll spend some time working on my technique or trying to learn a new trick (often falling), and it’s awesome to have other riders offering tips and tricks and cheering you on as you learn.
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of helpful information about women’s gear—especially when it comes to choosing the right board. As a female rider, I hope sharing my experiences will help more women find their perfect board and feel confident joining this incredible sport and community.

I first got into snowboarding riding a couple times a year in high school at Sierra-at-Tahoe. After college, I moved to Arizona and started riding more consistently at Arizona Snowbowl—this is where the obsession really took off. I began progressing quickly, chasing better terrain, and falling in love with the views and freedom that come with being on the mountain.
Before long, I was riding every weekend, taking trips to Colorado to hit the bowls at Copper and explore the park scene (still working on my park game!). Now based in Utah, I ride weekly with friends or with my 7-year-old son, who’s just getting started and already crushing it. My daughter was born in September 2025, and I’m looking forward to getting her on a board early too.
I love testing new gear and dialing in the perfect quiver for different conditions. Whether it’s carving groomers, floating through pow, or sessioning park laps, I’m always looking to push my riding and share real, honest feedback on the boards I try.
